GARRISON, NY.- Boscobel House and Gardens announced the hiring of Lauren Daisley as its new Marketing and Communications lead. Ms. Daisley is a media veteran who has built a reputation for high-impact publicity campaigns. As owner of her communications firm, Chroma Media Training, she advised some of the country’s leading experts in topics ranging from machine learning to interior design. She has consulted widely on how to deliver memorable content that resonates with audiences.

Ms. Daisley’s writing has been published in outlets including Newsday, Salon, Parents, and The Morning News. She has appeared as an on-camera commentator on CBS Sunday Morning, and been interviewed on MSNBC’s NewsNation, Q on the CBC, and Ireland’s national NewsTalk radio. Her interviewees include Maya Angelou, Hoover Institution fellow Kiron Skinner, Willem Dafoe, and Lawrence Norden of the Brennan Center for Justice. A former host on SiriusXM, New York Public Radio, and WQXR, Ms. Daisley was also one of the original staff writer/producers on the daily, national radio show, Fair Game.

“Lauren Daisley is a creative thinker with keen instincts and real integrity,” says Steven Miller, Executive Director of Boscobel House and Gardens. "Her skills and character align with Boscobel's mission to enrich the lives of its visitors."

Ms. Daisley responds, “What a joy to work at an institution with this level of expertise.” Looking out from the mansion to the Hudson River, she adds, "And the beauty here, it really is matchless."

Lauren Daisley began work at Boscobel House and Gardens in April of 2017.
