Gretchen Mercedes Opens at ACP, Sydney

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA.- The Australian Centre for Photography (ACP) presents “Gretchen Mercedes (SA),” on view through January 11,  2004. As part of its program of innovation and diversification, ACP has launched a new kind of exhibition space. ’The Project Wall’ is a single billboard site situated within the courtyard restaurant area. Spanning the worlds of art and advertising, it will present and publicise the work of six young photo-artists each year.

The ’Project Wall’ is made possible through the generous sponsorship of Photo Technica as part of their ongoing support for emerging artists at the ACP. It is their state-of-the-art production facilities which will turn these young photo-artists’ work into the high quality display format.
