LECCO.- From the beautiful city of Lecco, located between a lake and mountains, three Italians, have put all their energies to a unique and new application:
MYK ART (for iPhone and iPod). These three are: Fabio Dodesini, Roberto Marini and Luca Mauri.
What is MYK ART?
It is an idea (perhaps we can call an invention) useful to easily solve a need never faced before: to help the collector, the most demanding too, to catalogue / archive / file - choose yourself the best word that describes it - his own collection in a professional and validated way.
Myk ART is the acronym of MyKollektion: with the "k" replacing the "c" to better characterize the use of this common word.
And that's not all
Obviously this is only the spark, the primordial idea. Since now a lot of assessments have been added to make Myk ART an app really astonishing for its completeness.
For example:
- The access to the application is secured by using a secret password (owned by the user and never shared or stored on the device)
- The choice of five categories of collections: Paintings, sculptures, photographs, serigraphs, books
- The chance to save infinite photos for every item collected
- The Private Information section, where the user can save reserved information about the collected item (for ex: paid, actual max and min value, where conserved
).
- The Treasure section, where the user views the value of the entire collection and the amount of the invested capital.
- Share an item easily via email
- Store all the items shared by your friends that use Myk ART to better evaluate possible exchanges or purchases.
and many more!
Easiness and usability are the guidelines that the three guys from Lecco got as a must have for the application.
How was the idea born?
Fabio had got the initial idea in November 2010. Fabio, interested in contemporary art by DNA (his father is fond of art too!), did understood the lack of order in the world of collecting: most collectors buy works of art and then forget a lot of important details that are otherwise useful to preserve and even hand down to his family members: Who is the artist? Is this piece important? When did the artist make it? Has the work of art been exhibited in a museum? How much could it be worth today? Where is it kept?
Fabio decided to share immediately his intuition with Roberto, expert web designer, and brought the idea to the next level when they began the design of the application: the brand, the main features, the public graphics and layout.
But an important ingredient was missing: the developer of the app.
Fabio and Roberto firmly believe in the "share" and "synergy" tenets: the programmer has to be a partner and not merely "code" provider!
Finding a partner meant finding someone who believed in the idea, someone who would give his creative support to upgrade the project and, more important, who believed in the dream. Finding out someone with these characteristics took about 10 months. Luca is this best third partner: the developer member of the team.
Luca, Fabio and Roberto worked hard by night to prepare not only the app but also all the "levers" to bring the app throughout the pre-launch and launch phase: web site, social network channels, marketing and promotionals, business plan and so on.
Fabio, Roberto and Luca now have a shared and real dream, grounded on their energies, passions and skills.

The team considers a strategic partner to present themselves to the world with all the credits right down so to preserve the background all Made in Italy.
They found an italian company to deliver Myk Art: DEFACTS s.r.l.
June 1, 2012 - 00:01 AM
MYK ART is officially on the App Store, available at the price of $ 5,99 ( 4,99). Translated in 6 languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese. For iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and latest generation iPod Touch.
Will it be a success?
The three guys hope so! but they know that they have to work harder now!
