TEL AVIV, ISRAEL.-The Tel Aviv Museum of Art presents Prizes in Art and Design from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, 2004. The annual exhibition of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport prize winners, hosted each year by a different museum, is being held, once again, at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Prizes in four categories were awarded in 2004 to thirty artists, in recognition and support of their achievements. The choice in each area was made by a separate jury. The exhibition presents the winners up-to-date works, unfolding a wide and relatively open range of possible activities and preoccupations in the field of art.
The Minister of Education, Culture and Sport Prize was awarded to Orit Adar Bechar, Eli Gur Arie, Doron Solomons, Mosh Kashi, Roi Kuper, Yadid Rubin, Michal Shamir. The Prize to Encourage Creativity was awarded to Avishay Ayal, Tali Amitai Tabib, Eliahu Eric Bokobza, Ruth Dorrit Yacoby, Yitzhak Livneh, Hanna Sahar, Noa Sadka, Zvi Kantor. The Prize for a Young Israeli Artist was awarded to Hannan Abu Hussein, Lea Avital, Noga Elhassid & Halit Mandelblit, Sharon Balaban, Effi & Amir, David Adika, Rinat Kotler, Khen Shish. The Prize for Design was awarded to Feodor Bezzubov & Anton Zubatov, Daniela Yaniv Richter, Pini Leibovich, Michal Sahar, Yirmi Pinkus,Vered Kaminski.
