NEW YORK, NY.- Sean Kelly announced that Gladys Lin has joined the gallery as Director, Sean Kelly Asia.

Lin, a highly respected professional, comes to the gallery with over a decade of experience in the international contemporary art world. As Director with responsibility for the gallery’s operations in the Asian region Lin will oversee the gallery’s artist and client relationships, as well as spearheading museum and exhibition initiatives to service and expand the gallery’s growing presence in the region. Lin will be based in Taipei, Taiwan, where she will launch and operate the new Sean Kelly Asia (SKA) project space.

Lin has worked extensively with private collectors to build important collections of significant Asian and Western artists for them. She has been responsible for introducing many prominent international artists to the Asian market, often facilitating their first significant public commissions in the region. Lin has also organized and managed numerous international exhibitions throughout Asia in the public and museum sectors.

Sean Kelly says, “We are delighted that Gladys has joined the gallery. She is a highly regarded professional whose extensive knowledge of and experience in the contemporary Asian market will be invaluable to the gallery and its clientele. Gladys will be an important senior member of our team as we continue to expand our interests internationally.”

Gladys Lin states, "I am honored to join this respected gallery at an exciting moment of growth. Sean Kelly represents a remarkable roster of leading international artists, among them such outstanding Asian artists as Tehching Hsieh, Mariko Mori, Shahzia Sikander, Liu Wei and Sun Xun. I am excited to bring the gallery’s important international program to greater prominence in Asia’s dynamic art scene and at the same time continue to build on the gallery’s history of working with the very best Asian artists in the West."
