SOUTHAMPTON, NY.- Hamptons Fine Art Fair, the international fine art fair from the producers of ShowHamptons, has announced their 2022 exhibitor list, featuring artworks by 85 select national and international galleries. Back by popular demand, the third annual Hamptons Fine Art Fair expands dramatically to the bucolic and easily accessible 17-acre Southampton Fairgrounds from last years location at Southampton Arts Center, near the legendary Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, July 14-17, 2022.
For 2022, the fair will be staged in one spectacular 40,000 square feet majestic Pollock and VIP Pavilion, presenting 85 select galleries from 43 cities and seven countries. Over $100 million in important post-war and Contemporary art is available for immediate acquisition. There will be over 400 revered artists on display, with a focus on emerging artists, blue-chip masters and investment art and elegant decorative art, all ranging from modern to the contemporary.
Artist Ronnie Landfield (Findlay Galleries) will be awarded the 2022 Lifetime Achievement in Painting who, at age 75, will be saluted for his remarkable sixth decade of artistic accomplishments. Other distinguished awardees in the category of Featured Artist include Elise Ansel (Carole Corey Gallery), Jennifer JL Jones, (New River Fine Art), local Hamptons artist Chris Kelly (Colm Rowan Fine Art), and sculptor Gilberto Romero, (Winterowd Fine Art).
Executive Director of Hamptons Fine Art Fair, Rick Friedman commented Our goal is to provide our fellow art-enthusiastic Hamptonites a curated, high-caliber selection of important 20thand 21st century art- ranging from compelling emerging artists to the blue-chip masters. We expect over 7,000 local residents to enthusiastically explore the exhibits with more vim and vigor than ever. This is perhaps the deepest and widest selection of significant art ever offered in the Hamptons.
Throughout the weekend, guests will be invited to participate in an expert led guided tour of the fair by docent Sharon Phair and attend various art panels including A Passion for Possession: Collectors on Collecting, ARTABILITY: a Conversation on Creative Expression and the Special Needs Community, Which Came First- the Painting or Room Décor? and A Passion for Art Philantrophy: Donors on Donating.
Several galleries will be presenting specially curated themed booth displays including Ukraine based, Lysenko Gallery will present War-torn Gallery: The Last Show, from Kyiv to Southampton. For this exclusive exhibition, HFAF carefully selected artwork from the war-torn country to showcase the rich history of art in Ukraine. There will be a selection of Ukraines most important artists including Oleg Tistol, showing the modern history of Ukrainian art, and Nina Murashkina, an emerging art world star. Hollis Taggart Galleries will present West and Kotin: Revisiting Two AbEx Masters. Local art dealer Mark Borghi will present Mercedes Matter; The Last Works. Walker Fine Art will showcase, The Magical World of M.C. Escher and New York City based Zeit Contemporary Art stages, Warhol and Haring. Vallarino Fine Art , NYC, will present The Avery Style, and Chase Contemporary, NYC, will present Richard Hambleton retrospective .

On Opening Night, July 14th, the Bastille Day Vernissage will benefit Guild Hall, with lead media partner Luxe Interiors and Design magazine. Cultural partner, The French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF) will host VIP guests with a taste of France including fine wines tastings, Pommery champagne, and tasty French hors doeuvres. Setting the Parisian mood is a live performance of the popular French singer and recording star, Colette Perrier, and the French Heart Jazz Band. A spectrum of French aligned galleries will celebrate their national holiday at the fair, including Galerie Mark Hachem, Fremin Gallery, Galerie Calderone, Galerie LAtelier, Helwaser Gallery, and The Selects Gallery.
