Your Geneva programme will be led by Reginald Brack, Senior Vice President, International Head of Retail and Watches at Christies. Reginald heads a team that provides clients with unparalleled expertise, service and access to luxury and vintage watches. Overseeing both Private Sales and Christies Online Retail experience, he serves a global client base that ranges from first-time luxury watch buyers to seasoned collectors. In addition, Reginald is a specialist with expertise in rare watches. He advises collectors and dealers, providing guidance at Christies Salerooms in Dubai, Geneva, Hong Kong and New York. Joining Christies in 2013 as Vice President, Director of Private Sales he founded and managed Christies luxury retail boutique, sourcing and maintaining an inventory of rare iconic watches.

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be driven to your beautiful hotel, Four Seasons Hotel due Bergues. Located in the cobbled old town overlooking Lake Geneva, the hotel exudes elegance and sophistication.
Welcome tea and sandwiches will be served in the lounge where you will be introduced to your Christies host and other guests. Following this, we visit the fascinating Patek Philippe Museum. Here we will encounter the treasures of Genevese, Swiss and European watches and enamels from the 16th to the early 19th century, displayed over four levels. We will be given a guided private tour of the museum to witness this impressive collection.
In the evening theres time to enjoy welcome drinks in the hotel bar followed by an exceptional gourmet meal at Relais & Châteaux, Domaine de Chateauvieux, nestled on a hill in the heart of the Geneva countryside.

After breakfast, there is an exclusive watch handling session with Christies experts in the hotel. Guests will be invited to handle the vintage Patek Philippe watches from this evenings sale. The watches have been scrupulously vetted and will include only the rarest, most sought after, beautiful timepieces representing Patek Philippes broad arsenal. There will also be an opportunity to view more exceptional pieces from the upcoming New York and Hong Kong sales.
We then enjoy a guided walking tour of Geneva. The Left Bank is peppered with prestigious shops, monuments, parks and fountains. The journey continues through the Old Town to visit the St Pierre Cathedral and the Cité du Temps which is located in the heart of the city. Along the way we will stop at the iconic Swatch Museum. Lunch today will be at Du Parc des Eaux-Vives, housed in a historical 18th-century building, located within the beautiful Parc des Eaux-Vives and boasting a grand view of Lake Geneva. Later this afternoon, we will visit the private car collection of Jean-Pierre Slavic before heading back to the Four Seasons to witness this evenings historic sale.
This evening, guests are invited to join us for one of the most anticipated horological events of 2014, a thematic auction to celebrate the 175th anniversary of Patek Philippe. This sale will include timepieces from the earliest years of the manufacturers production through watches made in the last two centuries. With a focus on vintage masterpieces, this sale will educate and excite the marketplace, collectors new and old, with the prospect of owning the superlative watches of the 19th and 20th centuries. To celebrate this unique historic sale, a commemorative silver Patek Philippe coin will be included with each of the 100 lots, with the individual lot number hand engraved on each coin. In addition a special Patek Philippe 175 box will be included with each lot in the sale and each watch will also include a special Patek Philippe extract from the archives dated with the date of this sale.

This morning we will drive to the Audemars Piguet Manufactory and Museum, situated in the Vallée de Joux since 1875. You have the opportunity to discover the horological history and tradition of the brand as well as going behind-the-scenes to observe the production of the prestigious timepieces. The visit will be followed by a sumptuous lunch at nearby Hôtel des Horlogers.
After lunch, we return to the Four Seasons where clients interested in the Christies Important Watches auction are welcome to stay at the hotel. For those who wish to continue the tour of watch manufactories, we will visit the Geneva boutique and watchmaker François-Paul Journe. F.P.Journe is the only independent watch manufacture managed by a master watchmaker. With a limited production of less than 900 timepieces per year, F.P.Journe has developed, outside of its own boutiques, an extremely selective retailers network.
Dinner will be served at the Il Lago restaurant of the Four Seasons. Overlooking the lively Place des Bergues, Il Lago offers the finest northern Italian dishes, accompanied by exceptional Italian, French and Swiss wines.

We will begin the morning with a jewellery handling session by Christies experts of some of the exquisite pieces from our Magnificent Jewels sale this evening amongst others from our upcoming sales in London, Paris and New York. Following this, we will continue to the manufactory of Swiss watchmaker, Vacheron Constantin. Founded in 1755 in Geneva, Vacheron Constantin is the oldest watchmaking manufacture in the world, with an uninterrupted activity of almost 260 years. Founders of the very spirit of precious and technical fine watchmaking, the Maison has three fundamental values: perfectly mastered technique, harmonious aesthetics, and an extremely high level of finishing. This unique journey is an exclusive opportunity to enter the world of Haute Horlogerie.
Following our visit to the manufactory, we will enjoy a farewell three-course lunch at Auberge du Lion dOr, one of Switzerlands most famous restaurants before the drive back to the airport for your flight home.
