WATER MILL, NY.- The Parrish Art Museum has appointed Nina Sarin Arias to its Board of Trustees. Sarin Arias brings a wealth of experience as the Founder and Creative Director of ARIAS New York, a women’s ready-to-wear brand launched in 2017 and proudly made in New York City. An Indian American born in the San Francisco/Bay Area, she attended Parsons’ Fashion Design program after obtaining a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from London Business School. Sarin Arias has formerly worked at luxury houses Cartier and Burberry, where her fashion industry experiences combined with her business acumen inspired her to launch her eponymous label, ARIAS New York.

“As we continue to celebrate the Parrish Art Museum's legacy, we are excited to welcome Nina Sarin Arias to our Board of Trustees,” said Executive Director Mónica Ramírez-Montagut. “As a contemporary art collector, Nina’s innovative approach to blurring the boundaries between fashion and art, combined with her deep appreciation for arts education, brings a dynamic perspective to our institution. This is a transformative time for us, and we will rely on all our Trustees to move the Parrish forward into its next exciting chapter. Nina is committed to our success, and we are grateful to have her leadership on the Board."

Drawing inspiration from contemporary art and designing with the life of the wearer in mind, Sarin Arias' collections display strength in day-to-night dressing. The collection is available on ariasnewyork.com and select retailers such as Neiman Marcus.

"I am incredibly excited to join the Parrish Art Museum as a Trustee," said Nina Sarin Arias. "Art has always been a profound source of inspiration for me, and I look forward to contributing to the Museum's mission and supporting its vibrant community of artists and art enthusiasts. As a member of the local community, I appreciate the profound and positive impact the Museum’s programming has had on the East End for more than 125 years."
