From December 1 to December 5, the artist's works where presented as part of the Art Basel arts festival at the Red Dot Miami (Red Dot) fair-exposition.  The exhibition is held in the iconic Arts district and attracts tens of thousands of fans of contemporary painting, graphics, computer graphics and other types of contemporary art.  Today it is one of the most famous and influential art events of the Art Basel week of arts, and it is a great honor not only for young artists, but also for famous personalities in the world of contemporary art to be among the participants of the Red Dot exhibition, because it is often here that major  investment in art.

 

 Alina Shimova's works are one of the first Russian projects posted on the world's leading NFT platforms Opensea (NFT, Opency) and Loot nft (Loft nft), one of which is designed for the American market, and the other for the Russian market.  To date, two works have been sold.  One of them, "Shabash" ("Sabbath").  The transaction amount was $ 13 thousand.

The peculiarity of this NFT is that the owner of the token receives additional advertising, since the description of the real picture will indicate the owner, be it an individual or a company, which in turn will be an advertisement within the framework of the exhibition of the picture in galleries.

The second painting was purchased through the Artsy interactive art gallery, the largest digital platform in the world.  The piece "Poison Ivy", purchased from JM Art Management for $ 5,000, went to London.  The prices are planned to be kept at levels not lower than the sales made.

NFT is a "non-fungible token".  A unique digital certificate guarantees originality and gives exclusive rights.  NFT cannot be subtly altered, split, or replaced.  A transaction with the creation and subsequent acquisition of NFTs is done on the blockchain.  In turn, blockchain is the absence of an intermediary and thousands of simultaneous witnesses to the transaction, which also makes it impossible to fake or replace as part of any NFT manipulation.

The demand for NFT has grown 100 times this year.  If last year the volume of the NFT market was about $ 330 million, then this year the market is already about $ 10 billion.

Classic works on canvas, scanned and converted to NFT format, have a number of advantages - such as real work complete with a token, which means additional investment insurance in case one of the markets collapses.  Russian connoisseurs of modern art could already familiarisethemselves with the works of Alina Shimova, selected for these projects, at the author's exhibitions held in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Alina Shimova - (Instagram @shimova.art) contemporary artist, vice-president of the International Union of Animal Artists, member of the Eurasian Art Union and the International Art Fund.  The artist's works are in private collections.  Since 2018 he has been working in the pop art genre.  In 2021, she presented a series of portraits under the general title "Superwoman", where Shimova combined images of famous superheroes and real people.
