SUITS AND THEIR EXISTENCE

Suits for men have been around the globe since the 17th century. Taking different forms and styles, the structure of suits has changed over the decades and hence their use. Before the advent of popular men's apparel brands like Armani, men's suits projected an image of traditional masculinity and strength. A powerful shoulder, an elongated torso, and a trim waist are what was in the spotlight for decades.

However, over the past few years, designers have devised new ways to reveal and highlight new features of the male physique. For example, the softer the suit was, the harder the body was. This phrase was the Armani revelation to make softer suit shoulders and silhouettes.

EVOLUTION OF FASHION SUITS FOR MEN

Men's fashion suits have always been associated with a formal work environment, often connected to higher employment status. Therefore, a sense of sophistication and professionalism has always been entailed with men's suits. A suit consists of nothing but a jacket with buttons and a pair of matching slacks. Suits earlier were restricted to colors of black, blues, and greys.

However, as suits became popular on different occasions, they can now be found in a variety of colors—most popular becoming black and red suits.
Different styles of fashion suits for guys have emerged as fashion grows over time: men's sequin suits, floral suits, Glider suits, prom suits, you name it. Different sorts of suits have grown popular for different occasions.

Fashion suits for men are more than just fabric. It is a way of expression. Bold suits with bold patterns express your innermost strength and reflect your confidence. Sequin suits, floral suits, and gold suits for men have always been viewed as derogatory, but as time changes, they are being more and more appreciated. These suits, which were once thought to be feminine and fuzzy, can now be worn and look stylish to express oneself.

DIFFERENT REGIONS AND DIFFERENT SUITS

Throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, England, Italy, and France have been the leading countries designing men's suits and suit jackets. Climatic conditions in these areas have been influential in shaping the suits of different types. For example, fashion suits for men in Italy were usually made in shades of sand, stone, or light grey due to the humid climate there.

Different regions have influenced different types of mens outfits. After the independence of India, five-button suits made of khaki became popular. This was also called a Nehru – style suit. There was a huge opposition towards the western style of suits due to the past colonial regime. However, after the 2010s, these suits went out of style.

Several brands have committed to bringing out different designs of suits for men for every occasion. Tom Ford, Gucci, Prada, Angelino etc., are famous brands that have specialized in men's formal wear. Click Here.
