How to achieve desires you want if you feel that can not?

Probably everyone has a deep desire. All of us dream about something. Many people have big dreams, big desires, but only a few have an idea of how to achieve what they want.

Achieving goals is difficult, long and sometimes it seems basically impossible. However, according to experts of the blog about motivation and psychology Optimist.pw this is fixable.

A person doesn't need to try to imagine how his desire should come true. The most important condition for the fulfillment of desires is the presence of determination, a clear plan and strict discipline.

Our desires do not come true because we often do not have a clear understanding of what we really want. They do not come true because we simply wish but do not follow our dreams, giving up halfway through.

Many people have only vague ideas about their deepest desires: "I want to be happy", "I want to be rich". According to psychologists, such desires also are not destined to come true. It is like wandering around an unknown city without a specific goal. Where will you be able to come to in such a case? You do not know. But if you know your destination, you will definitely get there, even if you don't know the route.

The same thing happens in life to a person who has no specific goal. He is like a boat floating on a river.

Some may now argue: "I have a goal, but for many years I have not been able to achieve it, despite my efforts". However, most expert psychologists believe otherwise:

"No one and nothing will stop you from reaching your goal, provided you have chosen your goal, and that you are walking to it through your door. But you have to step, walk toward it. Not just daydream."

So how to find your true purpose?

A person's true purpose shouldn't be to solve some short-term problem. True purpose lies behind the answer to the question: "What do I want out of life that will fill it with happiness and joy?" Only this is truly meaningful.

If a person finds his main goal, its fulfillment will also contribute to the fulfillment of smaller desires. As for finding the right doors, you don't need to think about it. The main thing is to find your goal. And if this goal is really yours, the doors will eventually find themselves.

As we choose our purpose, we should rely only on the feelings of our soul. Because only the soul knows what we really need. Don't be constrained by the restrictions that your mind dictates.

If you manage to find that goal that you like, do one more test to make sure that the goal is really yours:

Imagine that your goal is achieved. How you feel at that moment? Any mental discomfort will tell you that the goal is not defined correctly. This means that your mind, not your soul, was involved in its choice.

Also you should be alarmed by the thought that the goal is difficult to reach. In this case, try to give it up. If at this point you feel relief, it indicates that you have chosen not your goal. But if you're overcome with indignation at the moment you give up the goal, it indicates that the goal may be yours. In any case, the only valid criterion for determining your purpose is mental comfort. Any distressing feeling in your soul at the moment you choose your goal warns you of a wrong choice of goal.

Do not confuse discomfort of soul and mind when choosing a goal. The mind will distract you from the search with its limitations and intrusive questions, such as "How do I achieve this?". Be patient and discard all doubts of the mind. Your task is to find the goal that makes your soul clap its hands with joy.
