How To Get More Likes On Your IG Account

Working With The App, Rather Than Against It
Understand this: things aren’t as straightforward as they appear when it comes to varying digital apps. While you should be able to post something that’s engaging, interesting, and popular, then see that post go viral, this isn’t always the case. For a variety of reasons, some ideological, some related to business, posts don’t necessarily rise “organically”.

Certainly, though, some slip through the cracks, and even if you can’t go mega-viral, you can definitely expand your visibility by several degrees of magnitude. Here we’ll explore five ways to help you do that.

1. Use Hashtags From Daily Hashtag Sites Or Apps
There are a lot of websites that provide trending hashtags grouped easily together so you can copy-paste them into the hashtag section of Instagram photos. A lot of these will say something like “#longhairdontcare”, or “#beachday”, or something like that. You can use these, but be careful to also add relevant, legitimate hashtags.

Even though Instagram tends to be less controlling than other social media sites, you can still get shadow-banned if you post too many hashtags that aren’t actually relevant to the content. However, subjectivity, satire, and other similar realities make determining hashtag applicability difficult for moderators; so you’ve got a little flexibility there for a while. Monitor likes.

2. Promote Content Relevant To Viewers And Trending
Who is your audience? Is it teenagers, late-end millennials, early boomers? Is it men, women, artists, blue-collar workers, doctors, or lawyers? Whoever your primary audience is will more likely respond positively if you cater your content to fit their preferences and leanings. Accordingly, do so.

3. Make Yourself Look Your Best
With apps used on smartphones, it’s not just about how good your makeup looks in the “real” world, it’s about how good your makeup looks through the lens of the app. At the following link you’ll find some notable Instagram makeup tips designed to not only look good in real life but for the camera. You definitely want to employ such tips for the best results.

4. Post Content On A Regular Basis To Establish A Pattern
Next, you want to be sure you’re as regular as possible in the content you produce. There are times during the day when posting will foster increased visibility.

Beyond posting at the right time, you want to drop something almost every day—think of it as breadcrumbs leading existing viewers to fresh content while nourishing new followers. This takes time, but it’s worth it.

5. Memes, Memes, Memes, And More Memes
Do you know what’s trending among about everybody these days? Memes. If you’re not familiar, memes derive from a Greek word denoting concentrated information.

Essentially, pictures from films, comic books, and elsewhere in pop culture are repurposed in a sort of parody of their original purpose. The idea is, through satire and tongue-in-cheek humor, to convey another concept.

People love memes. They’re funny, they’re easy to share, and they’re endless. A great way to get more likes on IG photos is to post memes regularly. People will come for the pictures and the memes and cruise down your channel for a while. You’ll likely enjoy the memes yourself, also. Posting them from other IG accounts is as easy as taking a screenshot and reposting.

Maximizing IG Visibility
Proper hashtags that are trending, relevant content, good-looking content, regularly posted content, and a variety of memes should help you be more visible on Instagram. Keep an eye on your likes, and you should see how you’re improving. Be regular with the points presented here, and explore other options through varying influencer advice blogs online.
