FOUNTAIN HILLS, AZ.- The Arizona Fine Art EXPO is a unique event that will showcase juried artists applying their artistic talents in a working studio environment, giving attendees unprecedented access to some of the world’s most gifted designers, painters, sketch artists and sculptors. Not only will patrons have the opportunity to interact with the artists, but participation will be encouraged during hands-on art demonstrations and workshops.
“The EXPO promises to be a great experience for the artists and visitors. I'm pleased to have this event in our city, one of the finest art destinations in the Southwest,” said Manross.
“We’re very excited to have Mayor Manross lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the Arizona Fine Art EXPO,” said Judi Combs, CEO of the Arizona Fine Art EXPO. “This is a great way to welcome the residents of Scottsdale, as well as from around Arizona, to this 10-week celebration of fine art, fashion and food.”
Throughout the festival, the working cabanas in the Sculpture Garden will give patrons a rare chance to view world-class artists in their own studio-like setting. Among the skills highlighted will be clay and Raku firing, glass blowing, stone carving and welding. Enhancing the garden experience will be the Café de EXPO, a small bistro featuring a selection of beverages and delicious cuisine. Special events planned for the inaugural event include designer fashion shows, quick draw contests, art nights, plein air painting, student art days, specialty luncheons, fine wine tasting and much more.
