California Impressionism with Jean Stern |

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA.- The Art Dealers Association of California presents a dynamic lecture on California Impressionism with Jean Stern, Director of the Irvine Museum, “The California Impressionist Style”, Thursday, December 9, 2004 at 6:30 PM. This event is open to the public. Space is limited, so please RSVP. “The California Impressionist Style” is an educational program sponsored by the Art Dealers Association of California, a non-profit organization consisting of reputable art dealers throughout California.
A recognized authority on California Impressionism, Jean Stern has extensive experience in the field as an author, curator, lecturer, and teacher. He has been the executive director of the Irvine Museum since its inception in January 1993, and has established a national presence for the Irvine Museum in the field of California Impressionism through a noteworthy series of exhibitions, lectures, and video documentaries.
The ADAC was established in 1970 to help raise the level of knowledge and ethics in the art world. The purpose of the ADAC is to further the professional standards within the art community by encouraging dialogue within the art dealer community and serves as an information resource through the collective experience of its membership.
