ISTANBUL.- Pera Museum is initiating a new audio guide for the New Year specifically geared toward the Museums collection exhibitions. The Turkish and English audio guide has two different editions, one for adults and one for children!
Pera Museum is welcoming visitors to experience the Museums collection exhibitions through a unique and creative perspective. Visitors will be able to visit the permanent collection exhibitions Intersecting Worlds: Ambassadors and Painters, Anatolian Weights and Measures, and Coffee Break: Kütahya Tiles and Ceramics. The Turkish audio guides have been voiced by very well known cinema and theatre professionals. The Turkish adult tour is voiced by Mert Fırat and the childrens audio guide is voiced by Meltem Cumbul and Yekta Kopan.
This new audio guide aims to explore the Museums permanent collection exhibitions through a creative and fun narrative. The Intersecting Worlds: Ambassadors and Painters focuses on 18th and 19th-century ambassadors and painters, the Anatolian Weights and Measures exhibition sheds light upon the 4000 year-long history of commerce and science, and Coffee Break: Kütahya Tiles and Ceramics focuses on the history and adventure of coffee through the city of Kütahyas tiles and ceramics.
In order to make art more accessible, Pera Museums new audio guide for adults and children with Turkish and English language options is offered free of charge to the public in 2017.
