ISTANBUL.- Contemporary Istanbul, the regions premier international art fair, is proud to host its 10th edition this year. The fair takes place at the notable Istanbul Congress Centre (ICC) and Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Centre (ICEC) from November 12th to 15th, 2015.
Contemporary Istanbul has held exclusive events around the world during the past year, has taken on pre-eminent international curator, art critic, and historian Marc-Olivier Wahler as its Artistic Advisor, and has continued to expand its reach in anticipation of this milestone year.

This years edition will include exclusive highlights to celebrate Contemporary Istanbuls landmark 10th anniversary, including:
NEW MEDIA PROJECT
Contemporary Istanbul will launch an extensive outdoor new media project to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the fair. The project will complement the fair and take place in the surrounding area and nearby districts of Istanbul. The project will be launched on November 9th and continue to support new media art throughout the year.
Realized with the support of Şişli Municipality in various outdoor spaces, the projects aim is to provide Turkish art scene with a new perspective. For this curated project, curators Susan Van Hagen and Ebru Yetişkin will be working with artists Tunç, DECOL, Can Büyükberber, Deniz Kader, Ozan Türkkan, Jeongmoon Choi, Noel Dolla, Daniel Firman, and Marina Zurkow.
PLUGIN the third edition of CIs new media section
Dedicated to showcasing new media, Plugins theme this year is X-CHANGE with an aim to create interactive and transformative relationships between conventional and innovative, physical and digital. Rethinking alternative ways of change; reusing, remixing and revaluing the waste/d and developing the sharing culture by science, art and technology.
Plugin will also host new media related game and design labs, makerspaces and studios. Gathering galleries and artists in a single space, Plugins participants this year include: DAM, Ali Demirel (aka Plastikman), Antivj member Joanie Lemercier, Martin Messier, Mryam Bleau, Ralph Baecker, Gallery Senda, Perte de Signal, and Yellow Peril.

Contemporary Istanbuls talk series CI Dialogues 2015 program will explore sessions such as:
Art Market, Arts context and Art Management
Organized in collaboration with Bloomberg HT and intended to analyze the state of arts economics as well as current tendencies within the art market.
How to curate a Biennial?
Focus on the current tendencies of curatorial practice at biennials in order to reveal various models and strategies of curatorial work today.
