Robertson Taylor, announced today the launch of the Collectors Series, a series of presentations and discussions designed to inform and advise on various aspects of collecting Fine Art and Collectibles. The series is presented in association with
Bonhams & Butterfield, Merrill Lynch and Private Client Group.
Victoria France, managing director, Fine Arts Division Robertson Taylor, said, As the only specialist fine art insurance team in Southern California we wanted to provide a platform for our clients to gain expert advice and information in an informal, easy to access environment. The first presentation has been designed to be informative and fun, while the second is planned to provide information about the business of collecting.
The first presentation will be held on the 30th July, 2009 at Bonhams & Butterfields Los Angeles office and looks at California Impressionist art, historical and contemporary. The session will include presentations by Bolton Colburn, Director of the Laguna Art Museum, Scot Levitt of Bonhams and Butterfields, and Andy Moses, California artist.
