Artist Linda Sirow and Fox Residential Group Join Forces for Combination Art Show and Open House

NEW YORK, NY.- In a most unusual partnership, artist Linda Sirow and realtor Barbara Fox of Fox Residential Group have joined forces to present an exhibit of extraordinary art with a preview of one of Manhattan's most spectacular residential properties, apartment 2ABC at 180 East 79th Street. The opening reception for the art show and real estate open house party takes place on site, Tuesday, December 2nd from 5:30 to 8 p.m..

The "Exhibit of Recent Works" will show approximately 30 of Ms. Sirow's oil and encaustic (wax) paintings in the 5,000-square-foot loft space, housed in what Ms. Fox calls "a Park Avenue-like" building.

"The paintings are all abstract, focusing on color, expression, form and movement," says Ms. Sirow, who adds her paintings range in size from small, 12x12-inch to large 3x8-foot canvases. "They are emotional, sensitive and subtle."

According to Ms. Fox, Apartment 2ABC at 180 East 79th Street features exposures on four sides. The apartment is currently configured as a loft but could be reconfigured into anything from a pre- or post-war apartment to a downtown loft, according to the new owner's taste and wishes.

After the opening reception on Tuesday, Ms. Sirow's paintings will remain on display from Wednesday, December 3rd through Sunday, December 7th from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. or by appointment. To see samples of Ms. Sirow's work, visit http://web.mac.com/lsirowkop.
