Eli Wilner & Company has Loaned 40 Frames to Christie's and Sotheby's Auction Houses for Their American Sales This Week



NEW YORK, NY.- Eli Wilner & Company has loaned 40 period frames and period frame replicas to enhance the paintings being sold at the upcoming Sotheby's American Paintings Auction on Wednesday, December 3rd and Christie's American Paintings Auction on Thursday, December 4th.

The frame loans include those for paintings with the highest estimates at both auction houses. At Sotheby's these include Winslow Homer's Winding Line, Marsden Hartley's The Silence of High Noon and Stuart Davis' Still Life With Map.

The frames on loan at Christie's include Winslow Homer's Shepherd Girl Resting, Martin Johnson Heade's Pink Orchids and Hummingbird on a Twig, and the cover lot of their auction, Childe Hassam's Fifth Avenue.
