MONTREAL, CANADA.- Montreal Museum of Fine Arts will present Gilles Mihalcean on Wednesday, November 21 at 6 p.m., in French at the Auditorium Maxwell-Cummings. Free admission. Gilles Mihalcean has made his mark on Quebec sculpture with works of poetic style employing techniques of free assemblage. In 2005, he was honoured by the Jean-Paul Riopelle career achievement award from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. In this lecture, he will reflect on his life in art, in particular on his approach to the question of spirituality.
The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts thanks René Malo and Marie Gagnon for their financial support of our cultural activities.
