GLEN COVE, NY.- Roland Auctions NY will present their next summer auction on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 at 10am, with selections from multiple estates. Contemporary Art will again have a very strong presence at the auction, which also offers Decorative Arts, Sculpture, Mid-Century Modern, Antique & Vintage Furniture, Textiles, Silver, Gold and Silver Jewelry, Rugs, Collectibles, Asian Art and Lighting. Previews for the August 22nd auction will be held on Thursday, August 20th and Friday, August 21st from 10am until 6pm.

Featured in the Contemporary Art and Photography arena this month are a Robert Polidori (French-Canadian, b. 1951) unique chromogenic print, "Rose Reading Room, New York City Public Library", 1988, bearing Weinstein Gallery label to verso, matted and framed. Est: $15,000 USD - $20,000 USD, an Andres Serrano (American, born 1950) color photo print of a young girl, signed lower right, bearing Phillips label to verso, matted and framed. Est: $8,000 USD - $10,000 USD, a Grant Wood (American, 1891-1942) "Doorway - Cluny Museum Paris," oil on board, likely from early in Wood's career, signed Grant Wood to lower right, with an additional inscription "Abbey Door, Paris," to reverse, accompanied by supporting documentation from Hirschl & Adler Galleries. Est: $7,000 USD - $9,000 USD and a Robert Kushner (Amer b. 1949), "Rose", mixed media of acrylic, water color, gold leaf, on Japon paper. Gold, black and white with rose outlined in pink. Signed. titled and dated '90 lower right. Gallery label on back of Holly Solomon Gallery, Fifth Avenue, New York. Est: $3,000 USD - $5,000 USD.

Est: $700 USD - $1,000 USD and a Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989) "L'homme oiseau" bronze on marble, signed Dali H.C. with Rudier Fond Paris mark to lower back. Est: $800 USD - $1,200 USD.

Decorative items will include a Rupert Spira (English, born 1960) large studio ceramic out of round bowl in black and white, base mark RS and with Sotheby's tag. Est: $1,000 USD - $2,000 USD, a French Empire gilt bronze, patinated metal and marble clock, Brussels, late 19th century, the oblong case with arched top, accented with ormolu arched garland, centered by Iris, the messenger goddess with wings, and supporting the clock dial, flanked by caduceuies, further accented with facing lions, the side similar decorated with flambeaus and bird footed burning censers, resting on a marble base with flattened bun feet, the white enamel dial signed Compagnie des Bronzes Bruxelles, the movement signed "Medaille du Argent Marti et Cie 1889 6 4". Est: $1,000 USD - $2,000 USD and a pair of French Empire gilt and patinated metal four light candelabra, late 19th/early 20th century, with scrolling and foliate decorated arms fluted column support continuing to a skirt with anthemion, resting on a tripod with paw feet and conforming plinth. Est: $600 USD - $900 USD.
