NEW YORK, NY.- Didier Aaron is presenting Travelling is an Art: 7e Drawings of Jean-Pierre Heim, an exhibition showcasing the evocative travel drawings of the internationally acclaimed and award-winning architect.

Inspired by his sojourns across more than 80 countries including Egypt, Sudan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Greece, China, Tibet, and Central and South Asia, the drawings of Jean-Pierre Heim document his travels using an expressive interplay of linework and color. Combining the precision of architectural blueprints with the spontaneity of sketch-book drawings, Heim’s immersive body of work presents a majestic vision of ancient ruins, world monuments, and wind-swept deserts.

As an architect, Heim harmonizes culture, design, and innovation, to foster a tangible connection between his buildings and their inhabitants- -his drawings similarly unite ink with watercolor and collage to offer viewers an intimate glimpse through time.
