LONDON.- The London International Creative Competition announced the winners of its 2024 edition, celebrating outstanding creative talent from across the globe. Recognizing innovation and excellence in disciplines such as visual arts, interior design, photography, architecture, and more, LICC continues to highlight visionary work that pushes the boundaries of creativity.

This year’s competition attracted over thousands of submissions from more than 84 countries, reflecting the diverse and dynamic nature of the global creative landscape. An esteemed panel of internationally recognized experts and industry leaders carefully evaluated the entries. After rigorous deliberation, LICC is pleased to reveal the Best in Category winners, whose groundbreaking contributions set a new standard of artistic excellence.

Aline Martins, Program Director of the competition, shared her thoughts about this year's edition: "At LICC, we are constantly inspired by the creativity and vision of our winners. This year’s competition showcased groundbreaking work that pushes artistic boundaries and redefines innovation. We are honored to recognize these exceptional talents shaping the future of the creative industry."

Winning artists like Fedor Goreglyad and Kamila Gilmutdinova, who clinched the Professional Award in the Decorate (Interior) category, presented "DEPARTMET 57 bar & club." This innovative concept is situated in a distinctive historic building, and it seamlessly integrates club and bar areas, allowing them to operate both together and independently. Jingyi Chen's "Nature Simulation" artistic series, recognized as the winner in Create (Art), impressed the jury with its use of technology to replicate natural phenomena. Through this innovative approach, the artist invites reflection on humanity's interaction with nature and the ways technology reshapes our relationship with the natural world. PHOTOGRAPHER HAL, recipient of the Winner in Shoot (Photo / Video) was recognized for his unique photo series "Stay Together," exploring the theme of love. Fascinated by the idea that those in love are inherently drawn to each other—as if they were once a single entity—he visually captured this concept by encasing couples in ice and photographing them, symbolizing their deep connection and unity.

"ESCAPE," honored with the Winner in Use (Product) distinction and envisioned by Huili Jin, embodies the concept of psychological detachment—the ability to disconnect from work across temporal, spatial, and mental dimensions. By allowing individuals to step away both physically and mentally after work, "ESCAPE" promotes well-being and enhances productivity, ultimately improving the overall happiness of office workers. Designed by the talented Karina Mikailova, winner in Illustrate (Graphic), this comprehensive book traces the evolution of the Armenian writing system from the 5th century to contemporary font development. Created to support and inspire emerging designers, it provides practical guidance on crafting Armenian fonts while celebrating the script’s elegance and shaping its future. Shaoliang Xie, recipient of the Winner in Build (Architecture) award, impressed the jury with the "Fuyu Cultural Tourism Complex" project. Designed to showcase traditional Miao handcrafts—including silverware, embroidery, and batik—the complex will also feature workshops for heritage artisans and interactive experience centers, preserving and celebrating intangible cultural heritage through hands-on engagement.

The "Best in Category" Professional and Non-Professional winners are awarded a cash prize of $1,500 and $1000, respectively, along with the LICC trophy.
