This 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner is an extraordinary find and a true piece of automotive history. Runs great, showcases limited use and careful preservation over the decades, which sold for $28,125, most of the top sellers of the day came from the Collection of a very prominent NY philanthropic family.

Following the 1957 Ford Fairlane as top seller came fashion, with a Christian Dior Limited Edition "China Dragon" Saddle Bag designed by John Galliano for Dior to commemorate his ten year anniversary. Twelve saddle bags were created with a limited edition to 100. Gold thread depicting a dragon and cloud motifs; interior label 17/100, selling for $23,750 and a stunning Fendi Sable Long Coat, the front closes on concealed hook and eye closures, the concealed front pockets are suede lined, the sleeve and body of the coat have a tiered layered appearance, with black silk lining, label interior [36" bust, 40" waist, 44" hips]. In home decor, a French Gilt Bronze Mounted & Painted 19th century tall Case Clock, the circular white enamel dial with Roman numerals above the shaped case, painted with two figural and four landscape panels, on a rectangular stepped ebonized base. [7' 5" H]. Sold for $!2,500, a Steinway & Sons Piano, "A" 91298, Vintage Victorian rosewood piano, circa 1898, "Steinway & Sons - Patent Grand - New York & Hamburg" with custom Steinway bench. [38.5" H x 74" W x 76" D], went for $10,625, a pair of Regence Giltwood Fauteuils A La Reine, each with a rectangular arched upholstered backrest, the padded armrests raised on curved supports, the serpentine seat centered by a shell motif, on cabriole legs terminating in scroll toes. Signed and dated 1951 at center bottom. Cassolettes-Compotes, each having reticulated bezels and covers topped with grape finials, with four wolf heads above four scrolling claw feet, on a stepped marble rosso levanto plinth base with a rosette.
