What Does Malachite Do Spiritually?

Malachite has been prized as a powerful stone for protection and spiritual healing throughout history. This green copper mineral is believed to absorb negative energy, relieve stress and anxiety, and promote harmony within oneself and relationships. Malachite has a long list of metaphysical properties that make it an important stone for many spiritual practitioners.

Protection

Malachite is considered a stone of protection. It shields the wearer from negative energy and guards against psychic attacks. Malachite absorbs negativity like a sponge, purifying the aura and preventing that energy from manifesting into something destructive. It also protects against electromagnetic radiation emitted from electronics which can create feelings of burnout or being drained. Malachite strengthens the auric field, helping the body resist the intrusion of negative influences. This makes it an excellent stone to use when working with spiritual energies to prevent unwanted entities or forces from interfering. For these protective qualities, malachite has traditionally been worn by travelers for safe journeys and placed in children's rooms to absorb negative energy.

Harmony & Balance

As malachite absorbs toxic energy, it promotes harmony and balance within oneself. It calms the emotions and helps release feelings like resentment, prejudice or hostility toward others. Malachite encourages being responsible for one's own emotions and not projecting negativity onto others. By releasing what no longer serves, it allows room for positive energy to enter instead. This gentle emotional cleanser lets go of old traumas and heals emotional wounds. On a psychic level, malachite banishes fears and phobias, bringing in positive change. It supports making clear decisions from a balanced state, rather than being pulled by emotional confusion.

Spiritual Growth

Malachite accelerates spiritual growth as it clears blockages within the chakras and auric field. It opens new pathways between the physical and etheric bodies so that intuitive messages and insights can come through with clarity. The stone's vibrant green color also activates and stimulates the Heart Chakra, or Anahata, to enhance feelings of love, compassion and connection. Malachite's energy resonates within the Heart Chakra, inspiring self-love as the foundation of one's spiritual path. It allows a deeper understanding and expression of heart-centered passions and creativity. By releasing emotional baggage and past traumas from the heart, malachite paves the way to living wholeheartedly in the present moment. With purer heart energy, one's intuition becomes a stronger guide.

Malachite is an important ally on one's spiritual journey. Its protective, cleansing and activating properties provide multi-level support. Working with malachite for balance, clarity and inner harmony leads to realizing one's highest potentials. This natural stone has empowered many through life's challenges and is an enduring gift of the Earth.
