Couraj Production presents: "Earth to Venus" - A provocative new play by Rachel Collignon directed by Mahima Saigal
Earth to Venus is a gripping new play by Rachel Collignon.

NEW YORK, NY.- Couraj Productions announced the return of Earth to Venus, a gripping new play by Rachel Collignon, directed by Mahima Saigal. This thought-provoking production will run from August 30th through September 8th at Theatrelab, located at 357 W 36th St, New York, NY, 10018.

Earth to Venus transports audiences to Venus Villas, a women-only mental health clinic where a seemingly benign documentary project is introduced to the patients. Initially met with skepticism, the project unexpectedly fosters a powerful sense of community and trust among the women. However, as the director's hidden agenda comes to light, the atmosphere shifts dramatically, leading to a journey through moral ambiguity and ethical dilemmas.

Rachel Collignon's incisive script explores themes of identity, community, and visibility in a society that often judges women based on their appearance, social status, and productivity. The play challenges viewers to reflect on how these external pressures shape and sometimes distort our sense of self and our interactions with others.

Directed by Mahima Saigal, known for her innovative and empathetic approach to theater, Earth to Venus promises to be an emotional and intellectually stimulating experience. Saigal’s direction brings Collignon’s powerful narrative to life, making it an essential piece of contemporary theater.

Performances will be held at Theatrelab on the following dates:

• August 30th
• September 1st
• September 2nd
• September 5th
• September 6th
• September 7th
• September 8th

Cast includes: Catherine Andy, Jasmine Bernard, Rachel Collignon, Kaila Galinat, Jessica Gomez-Lopez, Sammy Overton, Kkuumba Siegel. Understudies: Joni M. Grommesh and Sammi Gainer. Tickets are available now and can be purchased through the TheatreLab website or at the box office. For more information about the play and ticketing, please visit TheatreLab's website

Don’t miss your chance to witness this powerful new work that promises to spark conversation and introspection about the roles and expectations placed upon women in today's world.
