SAN FRANCISCO, CA.- In response to the evolving needs of its vibrant artist roster and collector base, Gallery Wendi Norris is pleased to welcome Ye-Bhit Hong as Assistant Director and Anya Udovik as Executive Assistant. Additionally, Melanie Cameron has been promoted to Senior Director in recognition of her exemplary work with artists such as Leonora Carrington, Remedios Varo, and Alice Rahon, among others.

"Melanie Cameron is not only an expert and leader in her field but has also been central to developing some of today’s most significant private and public collections."

Ye-Bhit Hong will focus primarily on developing exhibitions and markets for the gallery's contemporary artists, working under the direction of Leslie Rothenberg. Before relocating to San Francisco, Hong spent two years at Chicago’s renowned GRAY gallery, where she served as the primary liaison between departments, collaborating with Partners and Senior Directors to manage client research and development for exhibitions, fairs, and events. Hong studied Art History, Theory, and Criticism at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she founded the academic journal Artists Need Art Historians and spearheaded the Intercollegiate Art History Symposium in collaboration with the University of Chicago. Originally from North Carolina, Ye-Bhit is also an accomplished pianist.

Anya Udovik joins Gallery Wendi Norris as the Executive Assistant to Wendi Norris, following four years as Studio Director at an independent, artist-run design studio in Los Angeles. Udovik holds dual degrees in Art History and History from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, with a particular focus on contemporary Eastern European nonconformist art. During her time at the university, she participated in the WorkArt Fellowship Program at Kunstverein am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin and contributed to Public Programs and Engagement at the Weisman Art Museum. Originally from Belarus, Anya has relocated to San Francisco with her family and her dog, Senna.

Melanie Cameron joined Gallery Wendi Norris in 2019 as a Director, where she has been responsible for advancing the legacies of the gallery's modern artists. With 17 years of experience in selling, curating, and publishing books for modern artists—including Carrington, Leonor Fini, Wolfgang Paalen, Diego Rivera, and Agnes Pelton, among others—Melanie’s expertise is unparalleled.
