LOS ANGELES, CA.- Juliens Auctions announced today a collection of personal correspondence from Princess Diana as well as other important artifacts from Princess Margaret, The Duke of Windsor, The Duchess of Windsor, Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen Mother, and more will be offered at Princess Diana's Elegance & A Royal Collection the industry-leading Hollywood auction houses highly anticipated auction event celebrating the timeless style and cultural impact of HRH, Princess of Wales and the Royal monarchy taking place Thursday, June 27th live and online in Los Angeles at
Juliens Auctions.
Over twenty-five pieces of correspondence, photos and Christmas and New Year cards sent from 1981 through 1995, as well as poignant letters from Princess Diana to Maud Pendrey, a housekeeper at the Spencer family home at Althorp in Northamptonshire England will be offered. Highlights include (estimate range each lot: $1,000-$5,000): letters addressed to Maud Pendrey regarding the death of her husband who also worked at Althorp as a butler that reads in Dianas handwriting: "This comes with all my thoughts & prayers and love from, Diana. The Princess shared her intimate thoughts and feelings in a letter to Mr. and Mrs. Pendrey describing her honeymoon with Prince Charles as "a tremendous success - and we had a glorious time, and her joy of motherhood in other letters: William has brought us such happiness and contentment and consequently I cannot wait for masses more and while Princess Diana was pregnant with Harry, "What with the baby arriving soon, our lives seem to be very busy, but we'd have it no other way!"

Fashions and accessories from Wallis Simpson, The Duchess of Windsor such as her Maximilian fox fur coat dated November 1965 (estimate: $1,000-$2,000), her collection of three Mousseline De Soie handkerchiefs and scarves (estimate: $400-$600), her fuchsia pink satin clutch with royal cypher (estimate: $1,000-$2,000), her collection of gloves (estimate: $400-$600), and 1970 Givenchy Haute Couture cream silk crepe evening gown (estimate: $4,000-$6,000).
Items from The Duke of Windsor such as a circa 1938 Scottish Highland Officer's sword (estimate: $2,000-$3,000), a South American Machado silver and leather bridle presented to The Duke of Windsor, possibly on September 8, 1925, while visiting Santiago, Chile (estimate: $600-$800), a Laseini London wood pipe (estimate:$300-$500), monogrammed needle point slippers (estimate: $600-$800), and more.
A group of 1953 Queen Elizabeth II commemorative coronation medals and cufflinks belonging to Marion Thorpe, Countess of Harewood (estimate: $300-$500), a signed 1977 silver jubilee holiday card from Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip with a picture of them exiting the 260-year-old state coach amongst royal guards at St. Paul's Cathedral in London (estimate: $500-$700), as well as signed holiday cards from the Queen Mother from the late 1960s to 1990s and more.
These items will be offered at auction in addition to the previously announced largest collection assembled in over 25 years of Princess Dianas most famous and glamorous gowns, suits, dresses, shoes, and handbags that have also toured around the globe from Hong Kong to New York and is currently on exhibition at The Museum of Style Icons in Newbridge, Ireland through June 17.
