NEW YORK, NY.- RR Auction unveiled its upcoming April Fine Autographs and Artifacts sale, featuring nearly 900 lots of exceptional items from the 19th and 20th centuries.

Among the highlights of this sale are rare and significant pieces of history, including:

• Rare Abraham Lincoln Check: One of the standout items in the auction is a rare check signed by Abraham Lincoln, dated February 16, 1859, payable to Johnson & Bradford for $72.10. Encapsulated and graded by PSA/DNA as "MINT 9," this check provides fascinating insight into Lincoln's historic debates with Stephen Douglas and his endeavors to publish them. It's a remarkable artifact reflecting Lincoln's political strategy and aspirations during a pivotal period in American history.

• Significant Leon Trotsky Publishing Contract: Another highlight is a publishing contract signed by Leon Trotsky for "The History of the Russian Revolution." This document, initialed 14 times by Trotsky and Albert Boni, outlines the terms for the publication of his crowning achievement. The contract sheds light on Trotsky's literary pursuits and the complexities surrounding the dissemination of his seminal work, offering a glimpse into the life of one of the most influential figures of the 20th century.

• Important Scientific Letters by Albert Einstein and Charles Darwin: The auction also features significant scientific letters, including an Albert Einstein signed letter discussing experiments related to his Special Theory of Relativity.
