Hermès 28cm Matte White Himalayan Niloticus Crocodile Retourne Kelly Bag with Palladium Hardware. Reserve Amount: $100,000 w/ Buyer's Premium (BP) : $125,000.

DALLAS, TX.- This season’s gift-giving just got easier thanks to Heritage’s Dec. 7 Holiday Luxury Accessories Signature ® Auction. From hard-to-find handbags and spectacular jewelry to pieces for travel and home, there’s something for everyone in this treasure-filled sale.

Leading the auction is one of the most incredible and sought-after handbags ever created: an Hermès 28cm Matte White Himalayan Niloticus Crocodile Retourne Kelly. A masterwork of wearable art, the bag is fashioned from one of the scarcest materials on Earth — the hide of the Niloticus crocodile. Inspired by the snow-capped Himalayas, the natural olive brown skin is painstakingly bleached and hand-dyed to create an ombre of smoky grays that fade into a luminescent white.

“Produced in extremely limited quantities, the Himalayan Kelly, which was first released in 2014, is even rarer than its sister bag, the Himalayan Birkin,” says Diane D’Amato, Heritage Auctions’ Director of Luxury Accessories, Private Sales & The Boutique. “That rarity, combined with its impeccable craftsmanship, makes this bag one of the most luxurious, beloved and elusive in the world.”

The Himalayan Kelly joins a trove of other exquisite Hermès bags in the auction, with pieces ranging from the elegant to the bold to the whimsical. Color lovers will adore the Limited Edition 25cm “One Two Three and Away We Go” Birkin in Multicolor Swift Leather. Designed by British artist Nigel Peake, the vibrant bag blends abstract art and high fashion in the best possible way. Another remarkable offering is the très chic 30cm Black Côte à Côte Tuffetage and Swift Leather Birkin. Then there is the epitome of whimsy: the Quelle Idole Picto Kelly Doll in Nata, Mauve Sylvestre and Lime. Designed by Jean-Louis Dumas and released in 2000 as part of Hermès’ millennium celebration, this playful bag is the perfect present for anyone who likes to smile.

The auction also offers a wonderful selection of the most magnificently hued Hermès bags of the season, including a 32cm Matte Rouge H. Niloticus Crocodile HAC Birkin in sumptuous crimson, a 14cm Mykonos Blue Lizard Micro Constance, the oh-so-bright Rose Extreme Chevre Leather Mini Kelly 20, a festive 25cm Violine Lizard Birkin and a holiday-party-ready Shiny Rouge Coeur Alligator Cinhetic d’ Hermès bag.

Other Hermès highlights include the iconic Barenia Leather & Osier Wicker Mini Kelly Picnic, the imaginative Hermès x Jay Ahr 30cm Jaune Togo Leather and Black Yarn Embroidery “Macleod of Lewis Tartan Act 1” Birkin, the vintage 20cm Parchment Crinoline and Box Calf Leather Sellier Mini Kelly and the special order Horseshoe Beton & Gris Tourterelle Bi-Color Ostrich Mini Kelly 20.

Collectors and gift-givers alike will also appreciate the auction’s fabulous selection of jewelry, travel pieces and home goods. Exceptional offerings for the home include a 160-piece Hermès porcelain and 24k gold “Mosaique au 24 Gold” dish set and a 28-piece Hermès porcelain “Balcon du Guadalquivir” dish set.

The event’s sparkle comes courtesy of items such as an Hermès 18k rose gold Kelly Double Tour Bracelet encrusted with 840 full-cut diamonds weighing a total of 6.61 carats. That eye-catching piece joins an Hermès 18k rose gold Amulettes Constance Pendant Bracelet with 131 glittering diamonds and an Hermès 18k white gold Amulettes Kelly Pendant Bracelet with 109 diamonds.

But for those seeking a gift that’s a little more unexpected, the auction offers items such as an Hermès Savana Dance Wood Long Board Skateboard complete with bright yellow wheels and a leopard and monkey jungle motif. There’s also an extraordinarily rare Louis Vuitton Virgil Abloh Yellow Monogram Courrier Lozone 110 Pickleball Steamer Trunk. Unlike Louis Vuitton’s traditional steamer trunks, this piece houses four Monogramed pickleball paddles, five balls and a collapsible classic Brown Monogram coated canvas pickleball net. Designed by Abloh in 2021, the trunk was exclusively released in Louis Vuitton Indonesia in limited quantities.
