ARMONK, NY.- The Studio: An Alternative Space for Contemporary Art is pleased to announce a new link to the community! Having received approval from the Town Board, The Studio has instituted a rotating program of sculpture at the Town Hall in Armonk. Judith Steinberg is the third artist to be featured.

Steinberg's sculpture, "Trouble at the Top", shows her unique ability to translate the feeling of a two-dimensional drawing to a three dimensional drawing in space. The result is energetic and unpredictable. The viewer is invited into this abstract world with a sense of wonder of the artist's aesthetic sensibilities and the infinite possibilities that may result.

Judith Steinberg is graduate of Sarah Lawrence College. She has been in many solo exhibitions at the Soho 20 and Westbeth in New York City, Silvermine Gallery, The Stamford Museum, The Flinn Gallery, and The Gallery for Contemporary art in Connecticut and de Amsteltuin in The Netherlands. She has had public installations at the International Sculpture Project in Waterfront Park, New London, Connecticut, The Court House, Library and Tibbets Park in White Plains, New York, and The Library in Weston Massachusetts. She recently completed a commissioned work for Sacred Heart university in Fairfield, CT.

Steinberg is represented in numerous public and private collections, among them the Triplex Gallery, the Borough of Manhattan Community College, Xerox Corporation, Risk Capital Reinsurance Company, and Sacred Heart University.
