LONDON.- Man Of The World: The Peter Green Collection,
Bonhams sale of the personal collection of legendary guitarist Peter Green (1946-2020), surpassed pre-sale expectations when it ended yesterday (Wednesday 28 June) on bonhams.com. Highlights included a National Duolian Resonator Guitar, which sold for £38,400 against a pre-sale estimate of £3,000-5,000, and a Gretsch White Falcon 6137 Stereo Semi-Acoustic Guitar, 1968, which sold for £38,400 against an estimate of £6,000-8,000.
The 192-lot sale made a total of £483,300 with 92% by lot and 100% by value.

A Fender Stratocaster USA Custom Shop Relic Electric Guitar, 1999. Sold for £23,000 (estimate: £5,000 - 6,000).
A Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar, circa 1996. Sold for £21,800 (estimate: £3,000 - 4,000).
A Fender Stratocaster USA Vintage Series Electric Guitar, circa early 2000s. Sold for £16,600 (£1,500 - 2,000).
Peter Green: A Martin Model D-28 Electro-Acoustic Guitar, 1993. Sold for £15,400 (estimate: £2,500 - 3,000).
A 'Devilistic' Gibson Flying V2 Electric Guitar, 1979. Sold for £8,300 (estimate: £3,000 - 4,000).
