ENCAUSTIC AND CEMENT TILES: BOOSTS YOUR MOOD

After the worldwide spread of Covid19 families were stranded within their houses for around two years. With the ongoing level of stress on humans, even our home sweet home started to feel like a monotonous space.

After coming back to routine people want to get more creative to make their living space exciting and ethereal. Starting from the very floor and walls of the house can be a great idea as they covered most of our house space.

Changing tiles is a good start to continue with, especially if one is willing to make their house look fresh and majestic they should opt for the long-lost traditionally intricate designed encaustic tiles.

What Are Encaustic Tiles?
Encaustic tiles are originally ceramic tiles in which the pattern or figure on the exterior is not an output of the polish but different colours of clay. Generally, they are made up of two colours but a tile may be fabricated of as many as six.

How Are Encaustic Tiles Made?
Encaustic tiles are made by ingraining a contour in the unfired clay to a superficial depth using a carved wooden frame. The stemming indents are replenished with liquid clay, or drop, of varying colour. The tile body is usually of red clay with a white descent form.

History:
By the time the 1100s to 1200s encaustic tiles were seen decorating the floors of famous cathedrals and government buildings as they were the top-notch fashion statement of that era. They were originally made by engraving basic geometric patterns into stones with knives, the craftsmen would make holes and pour them with clay. With time they were made by using hand-shaping clay or by using crude wooden moulds.

Their worth faded away by the 1500s but made it way back during the gothic revival period and resurfaces in the middle of the 1800s

Benefits Of Encaustic Tiles:
Encaustic tile is manufactured with high-strain predicaments in reason and has proven itself a lasting option for flooring. Encaustic tile doesn't stain easily, is comparatively slow to wear down, and commonly encounters tough elements in outdoor use. Their mesmerizing shade and traditional geometric patterns never go out of style.

Choosing The Best Encaustic Tiles:
With the high-end marketing era finding out the ideal and elegant Encaustic Tiles is itself a stress, with a lot of competition one of the best leading encaustic and cement tile manufacturers are Maitland & Poate.

Maitland & Poate:
This tile company is based in Jerez de Frontera, Andalucia. Managing their family-run business Maitland & Poate is operating out of London as well.

Since it's an old family business, its sense of fabricating high-end materials and designs has made them stand out and on top of other competitors.

Maitland & Poate offers a huge variety of cement tiles. Their variety includes handmade tiles, reclaimed tiles, The Bohemia collection, Hex and colours, hand painted, and terracotta tiles.

They are suitable to be used in bathrooms and kitchens, floors, and walls as these are high-risk stain areas in the house.
