LOS ANGELES.- Kruse GWS Auctions, the world-record-breaking auction house specializing in entertainment memorabilia, fine jewelry, master timepieces, NFTs and Royal artifacts has announced the “Artifacts of Hollywood & Music” auction to take place on Saturday, November 5, 2022 beginning at 10:00 a.m. PT.

No one can forget the monumental impact the movie “ET: The Extraterrestrial” had on movie-goers. The Steven Spielberg 1982 film was a box office hit and has been dubbed one of the greatest films of all time. Who can ever forget Elliott, who befriended an extraterrestrial dubbed E.T. who was left behind on Earth Earth or the tears that flowed when his beloved friend E.T. had to leave to go back home. E.T. related memorabilia, due to its rarity and desirability seldom make it to auction. The extraordinary highlight of the upcoming November 5th auction includes the “E.T.” life-size prop used in the 1990s Pepsi Commercial that spawned from the incredible film. It is 45” high and is housed in a museum quality case. This prop was also used for filming by ILM technicians as a basis for “E.T” like characters seen in the senate chamber scene in “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.”

Another highlight of the auction includes a vast collection of personal clothing, jewelry and accessories from the legendary actress Marilyn Monroe. From the sultry Personally Owned White and Silver Evening Gown from The Sydney Guilaroff Collection to amazing Personally Owned Rhinestone Earrings given to her by Arthur Miller, the collection of Monroe items does not disappoint.

Elvis Presley had a fascination with Cadillacs. Anyone who is a fan or collector of Elvis memorabilia knows that owning a vehicle from Elvis’ personal or professional life is an exceptional investment, but most importantly a fascinating part of the “Kings” history, undeniably an icon who lives on today. Elvis Presley’s “Last Cadillac” with historical documents and a letter from Priscilla Presley is a standout in the over 200 lots. The car was purchased by Elvis and gifted to the then girlfriend of Joe Esposito.

The historically significant Cadillac comes with historical documents & Letter of Recollection from Priscilla Presley. Elvis was widely known throughout his career for gifting Cadillacs to important people in his life. On January 14, 1976, the "King of Rock and Roll purchased a baby blue Cadillac. The registration and sales date of April 26, 1977 makes this historic vehicle the last Cadillac that Presley purchased before his death. The vehicle is also mentioned in a book, making it even more significant for collectors and museums.

Music memorabilia is highlighted in the highly anticipated auction including Janis Joplin’s personally owned floral blouse; Elvis Presley’s film worn “Roundabout” leather Harley Davidson motorcycle jacket; Johnny Cash’s stage used Martin D-45 acoustic guitar; Madonna 1990 documents left in a Tokyo dressing room; Wyonna Judd’s personally owned Nick Coleman black blazer; Waylon Jennings’ 1953 “Number 2” Fender Telecaster guitar; Randy Travis’ ID bracelet; Barbara Mandrell’s custom DiFabrizio pumps with a letter from the star and Roy Acuff’s train whistle used at the Grand Ole Opry along with so much more.

More film related highlights include Peter Fonda’s Bultaco Motorcycle from the iconic film “Easy Rider;” Steve McQueen’s custom LeMans Gulf jacket; Orson Welles 1957 Screen Director’s Guild Statement; The “Alien” vs Predator Xenomorph Alien Egg from the film; Dan Aykroyd’s film worn pajamas from “The Coneheads” and so many other artifacts from the Golden Age of Hollywood to current-day mega-films.
