Corey Durbin (b. 1989) is a multidisciplinary artist from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. With influences ranging from the mystical writings of Ukrainian-born Brazilian novelist Clarice Lispector to the crass humor of the American animated comedy series Beavis and Butt-Head, Durbin creates anti-narrative works that embrace absurdity to dismantle established preconceptions of reality. Durbin received his BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA and has curated exhibitions in Brooklyn, NY and Richmond, VA.
Daniel Barragáns (b. 1988) paintings, sculptures, and artifacts concern the detection of cultural wealth and cultural mobility. His work is research-based in indigenous and Chicano studies with a regional scope on the American Southwest, the region of his birth. He is committed to the detection and description of the shape of time. He transposes, reduces, and composes a facsimile that will elicit recognition all while conveying a new perception of the subject. Barragán was born in El Paso, TX, and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He has exhibited in group shows throughout New York and Texas, most recently at Miriam Gallery, Brooklyn, NY. Barragán was a 2020 Smack Mellon - Hot Pick and was the recipient of the Stutzman Family Foundation Fellowship in 2019. He received a BFA and an MFA from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY.
Caroline Boreri (b. 1996) is a painter and sculptor, working out of her apartment in the Lower East Side of New York City. Her practice is rooted in the specific affiliations of found material, and the influence of American advertising.
Yves B Golden (b. 1993) is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, organizer, DJ, and co-founder of the Herbal Mutual Aid Network. She is inspired by the sacred bond that exists between memory and physical objects. Her collaborative and solo works have been featured in Serpentine Gallery Pavilion, London, UK; Institute of Contemporary Arts, London, UK; NADA Miami, Miami, FL; Yaby, Madrid, Spain; Springsteen Gallery, Baltimore, MD; George Caleb Bingham Gallery, University of Missouri, Columbia, MO; and RAW Material Company, Dakar, Senegal.
Carly Mandel (b. 1992) is an artist working in Brooklyn, NY. Her practice considers structures of public space, industrialization, and the U.S. healthcare industry to understand the ways in which late-stage Capitalism enacts violence on the body and memory. In 2015, she received her BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, Portland, OR. Her sculptures have been shown nationally and internationally. Mandel was a 2019 recipient of a Visiting Artist Fellowship from UrbanGlass, Brooklyn, NY and she was a 2021 resident of the Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, Omaha, NE. This summer, Mandels work will be featured in group exhibitions at Klaus von Nichtssagend, New York, NY and Canada, New York, NY.
Hayley Cranberry Small (b. 1991) is a ceramicist based in Brooklyn, NY. Small creates functional sculptures whose forms are both dramatic yet delicate, severe yet sensitive, recognizing the body's natural beauty and imperfections. Many of her sculptures build on themes of the sick or chronically ill experience and the relationship between humans and their environment. Smalls work has been featured in exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Windsor, Windsor, Canada; the Greenpoint Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; and New City Galerie, Burlington, VT, among others.
Cameron Spratley (b. 1994) lives and works in Chicago, IL. He has presented solo exhibitions at M. LeBlanc, Chicago, IL; James Fuentes LLC, New York, NY; and Demon Leg, New York, NY, among others.
