This spring, Christie’s will continue to pioneer and lead the NFT auction market with the first ever NFT section in Evening Sale in Asia. Evelyn Lin, Deputy Chairman and Co-Head of the 20th and 21st Century Art Department, Christie’s Asia Pacific, commented, “The art market in Asia is vibrant and dynamic as ever, despite global political and socioeconomic challenges. The influx of young buyers, coupled with the emergence of new public and private art institutions and art fairs in Asia, provide us with a solid foundation to introduce more top-quality works by celebrated global artists to meet the growing demand here."

Cristian Albu, International Director and Co-Head of the 20th and 21st Century Art Department, Christie’s Asia Pacific, added, “We are thrilled to be entering an exciting month for art this May in Hong Kong alongside Art Basel and Art Central, with our tactfully curated auctions, the groundbreaking exhibition of Flesh and Soul: Bacon/Ghenie, as well as a series of educational art talks. These tailored programmes are made possible by our devoted specialist teams and the art academics of Christie’s Education, and we highly anticipate connecting and deepening our interactions with the local and global audience in two weeks’ time.”
