NEW YORK, NY.- Once again……welcome back to VFA…this will be our 16th video since the first one we produced last September. Instead of shying away during the past 20 months of the pandemic, we moved forward purchasing 350 works of art. We have stretched our imaginations showing how our taste is ever evolving as our curiosity continues driving us to new places. We have also just completed our 200 page annual catalogue titled “Abstract Addictions: Paint it Black” which will be mailed in early November due to the shipping congestion currently happening in NY harbor…but can be viewed on our website shortly. Our annual catalogue is our signature statement that no other gallery comes close to producing. It shows our vast inventories along with our taste and vision revealing itself.

Our videos have touched upon subjects such as Women Artists, Black Artists, Abstract Expressionism and the New York School along with the American Abstract Artist Group of modernists and individual artists. Each of our videos is also accompanied by 40 to 60 page digital catalogue. We will continue to produce two videos each month….one being of “Recent Acquisitions” as we are always purchasing new works.

I have been in the art business for the past 50 years and own everything we sell as we believe in our expertise through our knowledge, scholarship and taste which is reassured by our experience and foresight. Fifteen years ago we became a private gallery because it was apparent that our audience was focused on what we owned and represented, making our business intimate and personable unlike many larger galleries. We have a beautiful 3,000 square foot townhouse located at 222 East 49th Street next door to Kathryn Hepburn’s old residence. There you will find our in-situ viewing with mid-century furnishings as one would in their own home instead of a white box gallery setting. We also have a 6,000 square foot studio in Millbrook, New York 85 miles north of the city in the Hudson River Valley which was originally part of Henry Flagler’s family’s estate. Our two private destination locations are the perfect settings for viewing our vast inventories in the most private and safe accommodations one could dream of.

For me art is the purist addiction that exists, and overtime I have realized that it's eclectic relationship with color, form and space connect everything in the most mysterious ways. Thank you for watching and stay tuned as there is more to come
