Sculpture Desire from the first Martian Art Station
As with the old masters studying the forms of gladiators, so drawing is fundamental to Linas practice. For a meaningful image of a human figure in order to reproduce it reliably you need not only to see, but also to understand what you are drawing. Lina studies sports in detail to accurately capture the essence and dynamism of the figures in motion, to capture the essence of motion even as the figure is static.
The shape of the body is determined by the skeleton as the main supporting structure. Knowledge of the relative sizes of the articulating bones and their proportions in relation to each other and the entire skeleton is essential, because without this information it is impossible to translate the figure to a 3D programme and depict it logically and consistently. - says Lina.

NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, are a type of cryptocurrency that is unique and not interchangeable. A sort of virtual certificate, this unit of data on the blockchain, represents digital files such as art, audio, videos, and can take the form of JPEGS, GIFS, etc. Contemporary artist Lina Condes ventured into this crypto-creative field, creating the first digital NFT art station in the world which is going to be presented at NFTbazl this Fall in Dubai. The story follows the success of the Emirates Mars Mission launched on February 9th 2021. About how we can develop art scene on Mars and what it will look like. explains Lina.
The first stick figure NFTs will go on sale at NFTbazl.com starting October 11
