BRIGHTON, UK.- The 39th annual Brighton Festival springs into life from 7th - 29th May 2005, bringing the best in world dance, theatre, classical and contemporary music as well as books & debates and street arts to everyone's favourite City by the Sea. Last year, England's largest arts Festival drew unprecedented attendances of over 430,000 and made an extraordinary £20 million for the city.

This year we feature ten world premieres and a further eleven UK premieres, five of which are Festival commissions with many unique to Brighton Festival as well as reflecting the thriving creativity of Brighton's own artistic community.
