Margin Alexander and his New York Music exhibitions
Margin realized from an early age that creating music was one of his strongest passions.

NEW YORK, NY.- A New York City metropolitan area based composer & pianist with a soul full of energy and fantasy in his original work. From his beginnings Margin Alexander discovered that his ultimate mission as a composer / performer was to touch as many hearts as possible with his music. His strong commitment and his unique creativity led him to develop some unorthodox composition techniques that would intertwine the traditional with the new style in order to develop a unique genre of music that would be embraced by everyone.

Margin realized from an early age that creating music was one of his strongest passions; therefore, he commenced his musical training in Europe by studying accordion and piano at the age of fourteen. A graduate of Montclair State University , he holds a B. A. in Music Composition as well a Master's from the same school. During his studies at Montclair State University& Rowan University, Mr. Alexander had the opportunity to study music composition under the tutelage of Harold Oliver, Dean Drummond and Grammy Award Winning composer: Robert L. Aldridge.

So far in his career, Mr. Alexander has had many opportunities to perform in numerous concerts, score films, accompany world known artists and hold his own recitals privately and publicly around the world, particularly in Europe and North America. His work has been shared both digitally and on live stage performances such as Carnegie Hall, Symphony Hall, Opera America, MAMAC Museum of Nice, Zodiac Festival, IBLA Grand Prize etc. He has had the opportunity to participate in numerous music festivals and performing events, both as a composer and a performer as well as collaborate with many ensembles, music societies and solo artists. He remains open to any commissions of any musical genres such as Classical, Jazz, Blues, Electronic, Cinematic, Chamber and New Music. Mr. Alexander can speak fluently five languages with native fluency, respectively:

English, Albanian, Italian, Macedonian and Spanish. The love for cultures, music, art, adventures, knowledge, languages, instruments and all the life experiences that he has acquired from living around the world have created a volcano of inspiration inside him that can only be conveyed through what he loves and knows how to do best ---- original music writing.

Amid the pandemic, has found a way to keep his art alive and "challenge" reality (within the CDC safety rules and guidelines.) Always inspired, passionate, fond of his craft, environment and visual arts, Margin has been inviting painters from all over the world to be part of his Music Exhibition series that find as their epicenter of his inspiration, his great love and muse, New York City. Due to the pandemic circumstances, instead of touring the world, this year Margin decided to stay in New York.

Four of them have already taken place : 1. "Sounds of a Manhattan Music Exhibition," 2. "Sound Drops from a Brooklyn Exhibition" 3. "Manhattan Music Exhibition" 4."Specs of Sounds, Bits of Colors" and the fifth one - a collaboration between Margin and poets is expected to take place in Brooklyn this late February.. The events have been of a hybrid format ; virtual and in-person (with limited audience number,) however, the projects have been successful and have yielded numerous collaborations and encounters among artists themselves and the composer. Having had artists from the US, Japan, France, Greece, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Brazil, Spain etc. inspired, acquainted and united has been the greatest success according to him.

In his concerts, Margin presents the artists, their works from his point of view as a composer and then led by his color and shape synesthesia, he performs the original compositions that he has dedicated to all the inspirational pieces that he has selected. In his future plans, Mr. Alexander plans to expand his collaborations with more writers, poets, dancers, actors and artists of various genres.

“My life mission is to get my inner musical fountain pour all over people’s hearts”
