You might be curious about what is tick fever in dogs. If you are a dog owner, you should be aware of this dangerous disease. Tick fever is a disease caused by ticks in dogs. Now you might think, what are ticks? Ticks look somewhat the same as the beetles in physiology and grow by feeding on dogs, which is very dangerous for dogs.

There are many preventative measures that the dog owners can adopt, and the foremost is to give a regular bath to it because the unhygienic conditions make the species most susceptible to the diseases.

What is tick fever?
tick fever is an anemic condition that can cause fever in dogs. As indicated by the name, tick fever is associated with ticks. Ticks transmit the disease by sticking to the dogs that are affected by the fever. These ticks, when come in contact with the other dog, affect it. It is the transmission mode of tick fever into dog species. During such a condition, there is a decrease in the red blood cell count. • Fatigue
A healthy dog who loves playing if suddenly seems uninterested in any of its favorite activities indicates some issues. The dog may not want to go for a walk or refuses to play with you. It is one of the common symptoms of tick fever in dogs

• Urine color may change
Because of the destruction of red blood cells in the body, they may be removed from the body through urine, resulting in its color change. It is another symptom that gives a clear idea about the disease.

The dogs are the most affected by tick fever. To prevent it from infecting by tick fever in dogs, you should follow some preventive measures.

• Use some tick-repelling products on your pet as prescribed by the veterinarian. There are a variety of sprays and shampoos available in the market.

• Maintain a proper hygienic environment around your dog because unhealthy space is the most favorable surroundings for the ticks.

• Regular checkup of your pet dog is necessary to avoid any health-related issue.

• Spray tick repelling medicine in your lawn and dog house, if any, where the pet resides.

Pets in a family are similar to other family members, which need proper care and maintenance. Regular medical checkups are necessary to avoid any major health issues in your pet. The pets are most vulnerable to tick fever, so proper preventive measures are necessary to keep your pet safe.
