NEW YORK, NY.- Phillips announced the appointment of Magda Grigorian as Phillips Chief Communications Officer. Based in New York and reporting to CEO Edward Dolman, Ms. Grigorian will drive the auction houses global communications and PR strategies and oversee all aspects of internal and external communications.

Ms. Grigorian has had a robust career in arts PR, having held positions across the industry. Launching her career at Sothebys, she established a strong auction foundation before moving to Haughton International Fairs, where she spent over twenty years building their presence and reputation as a global leader in fine art and antique fairs. In 2016, she joined renowned communications agency Sharp Think, establishing their arts practice and bringing in TEFAF as one of her primary accounts. Working alongside Artvest Partners, TEFAFs partner in America, she was instrumental in activating their US fairs and spearheaded TEFAF Maastrichts communications strategy in the US.
In Ms. Grigorians new role, she will be responsible for managing all aspects of media relations for Phillips, developing and implementing a communications strategy that leverages a unique voice aligned with the companys brand and vision. Reporting to Ms. Grigorian are Katie Carder, Head of Press, Europe, Ingrid Hsu, Public Relations Director, Asia, and Jaime Israni, Public Relations Director, Americas.
