KINDERHOOK, NY.- Is there a company that can integrate traditional art marketing knowledge with the online marketing tools of today?
The answer is yes!
Cross Contemporary Partners (CCP), a division of
Katharine T. Carter & Associates, offers all this and more. Katharine T. Carter and Jen Dragon work together to take a proactive approach to virtual career-building in the time of Covid for more than two dozen artists, by focusing on developing an artists digital presence and online reputation. This savvy company blends the traditional promotion of brick and mortar exhibition experience with the digital marketing tools of todays art trade.
Their first step is to create a wider audience by curating and promoting digital events on leading online art-based platforms. CCP generates content that straddles both real and virtual worlds, and employs social media digital marketing strategies enhanced when combined with prominent platforms such as Art Logic, Kunstmatrix, Art in Americas Artguide.pro, Art & Object and Artsy . Other strategies to broaden audience exposure include participation in fundraisers for non-profits that allows artists to help one another and their community.
Virtual exhibitions are critical to the success of this effort, and CCP has a digital online gallery with the illusion of 8001500 square feet with 20-foot ceiling heights for solo, group, themed and guest-curated exhibitions. The viewer can virtually experience the art in a well-lit and beautifully designed space.
Current artists whose works can be seen include: Anne Hieronymus, Sol Hill, Sarah Hinckley, Bassmi Ibrahim, Kaethe Kauffman, Victoria Lowe, Francie Lyshak, Nancy Macko, Robert Mango, Anne Marchand, Deborah Masters, Bobbie Moline-Kramer, Stewart Nachmias, John A. OConnor, Dellamarie Parrilli, John Lyon Paul, Lee Saloutos, Susan Sommer, Gail Hillow Watkins, and Martin Weinstein
CCP further amplifies artists careers by focusing on their upcoming events, museum exhibits and brick-and-mortar gallery shows.
Together with Katharine T. Carter & Associates, CCP also promotes the exhibitions of many of the artists in the KTC museum placement program, now in its 36 th year. Because of KTCs extensive museum connections nationally, photographer Lee Saloutos is currently in a one-person exhibition at the Irving Arts Center , TX; Martin Weinstein and Anne Hieronymus will be at the Mary G. Hardin Cultural Center in Gadsden, AL. The group exhibition, Parallel Fields , curated by D. Dominick Lombardi, featuring Kaethe Kauffman, Bobbie Moline-Kramer and Kathleen Elliot was first hosted by the Texas A&M s Art Department Gallery, and will travel to the University of South Dakota in 2021, and to the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art, CA in 2022.
CCP also promotes exhibitions by artists sponsored by other galleries and organizations. For example, artist Nancy Macko is currently participating in the online exhibit eco-consciousness curated by Eleanor Heartney. This show presented by EcoArtSpace.org is being promoted by the CCP digital toolbox while also shining a spotlight on issues of climate change and environmental degradation.
Sales come about naturally through well-integrated and innovative strategies. Advances in digital programming is changing how art is seen. The recent pandemic has caused the art world to pivot towards the internet as Covid-19 has limited in-person audiences, states Jen Dragon. Cross Contemporary Partners on-line digital approach still uses our proven and effective marketing strategies honed from 36 years of serious career building for hundreds of artists, says KTC.
