MIAMI, FLA.- On the heels of its fifth anniversary, the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami announces the appointment of seven new members to its Board of Trustees, heralding continued support for the museum and its mission. Daniel Berkowitz, Michele Beyer, Suzi Cordish, Andi Potamkin, Andre Sakhai, Roz Stuzin, and Alex Witkoff join the Board’s existing members, expanding the range of community advocates, philanthropists, business leaders, and dedicated contemporary art collectors.

In addition, Margot Greig has been named President, following over five years of service as an ICA Miami trustee. The ongoing support for ICA Miami marks its role as a leading contemporary art institution locally and globally.

“ICA Miami’s Board of Trustees represents both the foundations of our city and the next generation of international leaders. I am grateful to have such incredible leadership partners as we build this museum’s legacy,” said ICA Miami Artistic Director Alex Gartenfeld.

“Margot is an incredible champion of the museum and an anchor of our board. We are delighted to see her leadership in our organization grow and to welcome our new trustees,” said Irma Braman, Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees. Co-Chair Ray Ellen Yarkin added, “Margot has demonstrated visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to ICA Miami’s mission, and we are honored to serve alongside her as well as the newest members of our Board.”

Through support from its Board, ICA Miami’s exhibitions, collections, and educational programming have flourished since its founding in 2014. As part of its mission to champion new narratives in contemporary art and provide a platform for the exchange of art and ideas, the museum launched several major initiatives in 2019, including a new sculpture prize and an exhibition series focused on the intersection of contemporary art and design, as well as commissioned major largescale works and added more than 100 significant works of contemporary art to its holdings.

ICA Miami has also remained committed to expanding the breadth and impact of its educational programming, which has served tens of thousands of students, families, and arts practitioners in the Miami region and around the world.
