| The East Side Gallery (Berlin Wall) Under Restoration |

BERLIN, GERMANY.- A Spanish tourist poses as her friends takes a picture in front of a restored painting of the so-called East Side Gallery, a 1.3 km-long portion of the Berlin wall, 09 December 2004. This particular stretch of the wall was taken over by artists who decorated the yet untouchable east side with artwork and political statements after the wall was taken down in 1989-1990. An association is currently trying to restore the whole stretch to its former glory.
