NEW YORK, NY.- A La Vieille Russie announced its return to TEFAF Fall New York this October at the Park Avenue Armory at 67th Street. The gallery’s presentation will include a carefully curated selection of rare works of antique and estate jewelry ranging from the 1800s through the 1970s with offerings from European and American designers such as Cartier, Flato, Tiffany & Co., and Van Cleef & Arpels. In addition, there will be works of art by Peter Carl Fabergé, the legendary Russian jeweler.

We will be showcasing a number of works that will pique the interest of both our established clients as well as newcomers.”
Highlights include a pair of Cartier coral bead earrings as well as a Cartier gold bracelet with lapis beads, both from the 1950s; a demantoid and diamond salamander brooch; an Art Deco dragonfly brooch with pavé and baguette diamonds; and an antique pearl necklace in its original Tiffany & Co. box. Known for having the largest collection of antique jewelry from the pre-brand era, A La Vieille Russie will be showing several examples of beautiful antique and estate pieces that emphasize their incredible craftsmanship.
Among the rarely seen Fabergé works on view will be a silver table lighter in the form of an ape resembling Charles Darwin; a large obsidian carp sculpture with moonstone and yellow enamel eyes; a silver match holder in the form of a fish from 1890; and scarab, diamond, and gold double cufflinks. Furthermore, there will be other works produced by Fabergé including silverware, cigarette cases, desk accessories, clocks, frames, and objets de vertu.
