ROTTERDAM.- Haute Photographie is a new photography fair with a concept unlike any other. Haute is centered around a group exhibition, featuring works by the grand masters from the history of photography, to the youngest and most exciting talents working with the medium today. This collection brings together a select group of international galleries. Strengthened by a fascinating educational programme, created in collaboration with Nederlands Fotomuseum, and a high-quality book market, realised together with GUP Magazine, visitors can explore and enjoy the many facets of fine art photography at the 5-day event. Haute Photographie will be a meeting place for artists, curators, collectors - both young and experienced - and anyone with a genuine love for photography.

The first edition will see contributions from the following galleries, bringing together works from nearly 50 international artists:

• Kahmann Gallery (Amsterdam)
• Esther Woerdehoff (Paris)
• Grundemark/Nilsson (Stockholm/Berlin)
• Howard Greenberg Gallery (New York)
• Ibasho Gallery (Antwerp)

Alongside Haute’s main exhibition, a focus exhibition will showcase works by three young talents based in the Netherlands. The exhibited artists will be selected from the 2017 edition of the publication New Dutch Photography Talent, published by x-publishers.

Haute Photographie will take over LP2 in Las Palmas at Rotterdam’s Kop van Zuid district, where it will share its entrance with Nederlands Fotomuseum. Haute and the leading national museum for photography will collaborate closely in order to create a true photography hub at Kop van Zuid during the annual Art Rotterdam Week.

Together with its partners, Haute Photographie will offer a diverse programme for its visitors. The programme will include lectures, tours and workshops, all to deepen the knowledge of the visitors about the world of fine art photography. The programme details will be published in early 2017.

On the occasion of the fair, the magazine Haute Photographie has been realised in association with GUP Magazine. Offering in-depth articles and visual inspiration, Haute Magazine was launched at Paris Photo and can be purchased at the fair.
