Michael Clinton returns with a stunning new series: Hamptons - The Snaps Series
Michael Clinton is President, Marketing and Publishing Director of Hearst Magazines.

NEW YORK, NY.- Traveler extraordinaire Michael Clinton has returned with a stunning new series that defines sense of place in some of the world’s most beautiful locations. Choosing the glories of New York’s preeminent summer destination—the Hamptons—as the subject in the first installment, Clinton captures the essence of beachfront life and infuses it with wonder and joy.

In The Hamptons: The Snaps Series, the accomplished photographer uses his unique eye to transform ordinary, everyday moments into insightful and inspiring images. The collection captures Long Island's stunning east end: Shinnecock, Southampton, North Sea, Watermill, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, Shelter Island, Sagaponack, Easthampton, Amagansett, and Montauk.

Whether it be a crab hiding in the shadow of the dunes, a farmer’s stand, historic windmill, or the unpeopled curve of the early morning beach, these evocative images invite viewers to contemplate and focus on the small, yet telling moments that create a larger sense of beauty and wonder. This book will appeal to anyone who loves the Hamptons, art, or photography.

Michael Clinton is President, Marketing and Publishing Director of Hearst Magazines. His responsibilities include oversight of 21 publications, including Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, O, The Oprah magazine, Elle Décor, and Esquire. Clinton also serves on the Board of the Hearst Corporation and is the former Chairman of the Magazine Publishers of America.

Clinton is also a Trustee of the International Center of Photography and is the Founder and President of the non-profit organization, Circle of Generosity. A well-known photographer and global traveler, he makes his home in New York City, and Water Mill,
the Hamptons.
