Independent Brussels announces exhibitor list for inaugural edition

BRUSSELS.- Independent Brussels announced the final list of participants for its first-ever edition in Belgium to take place from April 20 – 23, 2016, at the Vanderborght Building, located at Schildknaapstraat 50 rue de l'écuyer in the historical center of Brussels.

“Independent is no longer solely a New York event,” says founding Executive Director Laura Mitterrand, “and its first iteration in Brussels will bring to the city the same level of galleries and cultural players that have made it such a reference as an art fair.”

Independent Brussels will feature over 60 international galleries and non-profit institutions drawn from 30 cities, with many solo and site-driven projects:

The fair will launch amidst an exciting contemporary art week in Brussels, highlighting the city’s leading galleries and institutions.
