BEVERLY, MASS.- Kaminski Auctions December 13th Holiday Auction presents an impressive array of fine jewelry including estate pieces from the collection of Ruth L. Harris of Boston, Massachusetts, just in time for Christmas. The star lot of the sale is an eighteen carat gold bracelet and necklace set, with coral and diamonds. The necklace having 3.64 carats of diamond and 166.7 grams of coral is from a New York collection. There is also a platinum and diamond necklace with 16 carats of diamonds and a total 45.8 grams troy weight from the same collection.

Several exceptional rings in the sale include a platinum ring, with cabochon and diamonds, the diamonds are 1.17 carats, with 9.21 carats of sapphires estimated at $16,000-$22,000, a 14 carat gold ring, with tanzanite, opals and diamonds, 12.21 carats of tanzanite,1.58 carats of diamonds and a 14 carat gold ring, with emerald-cut square aquamarines estimated at $4,000-$6,000.

There is a selection of diamond bands, earrings and several diamond, emerald and sapphire bracelets. A signed Judith Ripka eighteen carat gold, diamond and ruby brooch, approximately 16.3 grams troy weight is estimated at $13,000-$18,000.

Apart from the outstanding selection of jewelry, fine art offerings include a Franz Hohenberger (Austrian, 1867-1941), oil on canvas titled “The Artist Studio”, an Antoine Blanchard (French, 1910-1988), Paris street scene, oil on canvas, and a Frank Vining Smith (American, 1879-1967), ship with three masts, oil on canvas, all from a Massachusetts estate.

A “Chrysalide” vase by Lalique, Wormley for Dunbar furniture, a vintage Gibson Les Paul Deluxe guitar, an Italian pietra dura table, antique oriental carpets and a handsome circa 1920 Whiting sterling silver tea set, which includes six pieces ornately engraved with swags, urns, and floral designs, weighing approximately 158.8 troy ounces,estimated at $1,800-$2,500 are among the other top lots in the sale.
